Everything you need to know to succeed on Vybe Sprint challenges
Vybe Sprint connects Gen-Z participants with Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) for 2-week innovation challenges. SMEs post real business briefs (short projects or challenges) that you execute in two-week sprints.
As a participant, you can:
Create an account by signing in with your email. You'll receive a valid OTP (One-Time Password) via email to complete your sign-in.
Set up your profile with your skills, timezone, and availability. This helps the auto-matching algorithm place you in the right team.
Explore active challenges from SMEs. Read the briefs, check the prize amounts, and find challenges that interest you.
Click "Apply" on challenges you want to join. You can apply individually (auto-matched into teams) or as a pre-formed team.
A complete profile helps you get matched with the right teams and challenges. Here's what to include:
List your skills separated by commas. Examples: "PM, Leadership, Strategy" or "Designer, UI/UX, Figma" or "Marketer, Growth, Analytics" or "Tech, Developer, Full-stack"
Select your timezone so teams can coordinate meetings and work sessions effectively.
Set your weekly availability slots. Be realistic about when you can commit time during the 2-week challenge period.
Vybe Sprint uses an intelligent auto-matching algorithm to form teams of 4 roles:
Leadership, strategy, coordination
UI/UX, visual design, user research
Growth, analytics, content, campaigns
Development, full-stack, implementation
The algorithm matches participants based on skills, availability, and timezone to create balanced, diverse teams. If you have a pre-formed team, you can apply together as a Pod Application.
Once matched into a team, you'll have 2 weeks to build a solution. Here's the typical workflow:
Understand the brief, research the problem, plan your approach, and start building your solution.
Refine your solution, gather evidence, create documentation, and submit your work before the deadline.
Teams must submit:
After submissions are scored, all participants receive Proof Cards - verified proof of your work that you can share in your portfolio, LinkedIn, or job applications.
Proof Cards are perfect for:
Set up team communication channels immediately. Regular check-ins help coordinate work and prevent misunderstandings.
Read the brief carefully. Understand the SME's business problem, objectives, and constraints before starting.
Focus on your role's responsibilities, but be ready to help teammates when needed. Collaboration is key.
Keep a worklog of your process, decisions, and learnings. This helps with scoring and creates valuable documentation.
SMEs are looking for solutions that solve real business problems. Focus on measurable impact and clear value.
Late submissions may not be accepted. Plan your timeline carefully and submit before the deadline.
